1. Relevant to Regional Memorandum No. 379, s. 2024 dated May 27, 2024, in reference to the MATATAG Agenda of the Department of Education, this Office hereby reiterates existing policies to ensure our learner’s safety and well-being in an enabling learning environment.
2. Schools, learning centers and offices are reminded that safety is everyone’s responsibility and shall promote the implementation of programs, projects, activities that strengthen disaster preparedness, prevention and mitigation.
3. School heads are advised to encourage learners through their learner-led clubs and organizations in identifying hazards and risks using the suggested Hazard Mapping template in Enclosure No. 1.
