1. In reference to Memorandum DM-CT-2023-230 re: Administration of the
National Learning Camp Assessment (Post-Test) for Incoming Grade 8 and Grade 9 Learners for SY 2023-2024 released on August 11, 2023, and in compliance with the agreements during the National Orientation held last August 17, 2023, this Office, through the Curriculum Implementation Division and ICT Services Unit, informs all public Junior High Schools of the Administration of the National Learning Camp (NLC) Assessment (Post-Test) for Grades 8 and 9 Learners, SY 2023-2024.
2. The NLC Assessment is an online computer-based assessment which uses the
pre-test post-test design to describe the effectiveness of the learning camp
intervention on the learning proficiencies of participating learners before and after attending the NLC. The NLC Assessment Pre-Test was administered to Grade 7 and Grade 8 learners of SY 2022-2023 last June 21-July 14, 2023, while the Camp was held from July 24-August 25, 2023.
3. The NLC Assessment Post-Test shall be administered from August 31- September 22, 2023 to all Grades 8 and 9 learners enrolled in all public Junior
High Schools in SY 2023-2024 who have taken the Pre-Test, whether or not they
have participated in the National Learning Camp.
4. Since the NLC Assessment Post-Test will be administered in the same manner
as that of the Pre-Test, and to facilitate its smooth conduct, all concerned shall refer to salient provisions of the following Division Memoranda:
