1. In adherence to DepEd Order No. 12, s. 2025 re: Multi-Year Implementing Guidelines on the School Calendar and Activities, and DepEd Memorandum No. 25, s. 2025 re: Learners Health Assessment and Screening for SY 2025-2026, this Division issues the guidelines for the implementation of health and nutrition activities in all public elementary and secondary schools for School Year 2025-2026. These activities aim to promote the well-being, academic performance, and holistic development of learners.
2. The objectives of this Memorandum are to:
a. ensure that all learners undergo health screening and assessment;
b. promote proper hygiene and nutrition practices;
c. monitor learner’s growth and nutritional status;
d. identify learners with hearing and vision concerns for appropriate classroom placement; and
e. achieve full coverage of deworming, especially for SBFP and 4Ps beneficiaries.
