1. Relative to DepEd Memorandum No. 049, s. 2023 dated, August 24, 2023, re:
Administration of the 2023 Special Philippine Educational Placement Test (PEPT), this Office announces that the Department of Education (DepEd), through the Bureau of Education Assessment (BEA), the Administration of the 2023 Special Philippine Educational Placement Test (PEPT) shall be held in October this year. The date of the test administration shall be announced in a separate memorandum.
2. Registration of test takers and initial evaluation of documents shall be made in
public and private elementary and secondary schools in the division. Submission of documentary requirements of all registrants to the Division shall be on or before September 16, 2023, to provide ample time for the finalization and submission of the actual number of registrants to BEA.
3. Other guidelines relative to the conduct of the Administration of the 2023 Special Philippine Educational Placement Test (PEPT) are provided in the attached Memorandum.
4. Immediate and wide dissemination of this Memorandum is earnestly desired.
