1. In reference to OM-OASOPS-2023-07-023, S. 2023 and Regional Memorandum No. 486, s. 2023, this Office announces the screening of “Oscar M. Alcaraz, Ang Boy Scout na Bayani” directed by Antonio San Agustin.
2. The film shows invaluable Filipino values through Oscar M. Alcaraz, a Boy Scout role model who became the first civilian to be given the honor to be laid to rest at the Libingan ng mga Bayani.
3. Participation of public and private schools shall be subject to the no disruption-of-classes policy stipulated in DepEd Order No. 9, s. 2005 titled “Instituting Measures to Increase Engaged Time – On – Task and Ensuring Compliance Therewith” and the policy on off-campus activities stated in DepEd Order No. 66, s. 2017.
4. Further, this is subject to no-collection policy stated in the Section 3 of Republic Act No. 5546 known as “An Act Prohibiting the Sale of Tickets and/or Collection of Contributions for Whatever Project or Purpose from Students and Teachers of Public and Private Schools, Colleges, and Universities (Ganzon Law).
