1. Relative to the conduct of the 2020 CALABARZON HEROES GAMES (CHG) this coming March 22-28, 2020 in Dasmariñas City with the theme, ” CALABARZON Heroes: Making the BIG Leap in School Sport,” this Office releases the official list of athletes, coaches, assistant coaches, chaperons, trainers and sports consultants for regular elementary, secondary, Special Education (SPED) and Alternative Learning System ( ALS) level.
2. Enclosed herewith is the masterlist of athletes, coaches, asst. coaches, chaperons and trainers submitted by Ms. Armabelle C. Campana- OIC- Head, City Sports Development Office and approved by the Office of Congressman Elpidio F. Barzaga ,Jr.
3. All coaches, asst. coaches, chaperons, trainers, sports consultants and other delegation committees together with Division Sports Officer, Education Program Supervisors in MAPEH, ALS, and SPED are required to attend the Division Live- In Training from March 2, 2020 to March 20, 2020. Dasmariñas City delegation will be billeted at Dasmarinas II Central Elementary School and Dasmarinas Integrated High School from the scheduled training up to the duration of 2020 CALABARZON Heroes Games.
4. Elementary and secondary schools are instructed to ensure that all student- athletes shall be given 4th Periodical Test and taken advanced lessons prior to the scheduled training/competition. Schools shall provide all athletes with learning interventions and lesson modules as part of their academic program to compensate their lessons during their trainings and competition proper. School heads are instructed to provide special consideration to learners’ active participation to co-curricular activities such as sports activities with compliance to Regional Memorandum No. 13, s. 2015. Likewise, concerned school heads shall take responsibility also in assigning competent teachers to handle the affected classes of teachers serving as coaches, trainers, regional and delegation officials with utmost consideration of DepEd Order No. 9, s.2005 on Instituting Measures to Increase Engaged Time-On-Task and Ensuring Compliance Therewith.
