1. Underscored in DepEd Order No. 08, s. 2015, classroom assessment is an
integral part of curriculum implementation, and it allows teachers to continuously track and measure learners’ cognitive, affective, and psychomotor
development to achieve desired learning competencies articulated in the national
curriculum.
2. This Office through the Curriculum Implementation Division instructs the field
to conduct Diagnostic Assessment in all learning areas from September 06 to
September 15, 2023 using the existing tools provided to the schools.
3. This academic activity aims to:
a. determine the level of prior knowledge of learners and their mastery of pre-requisite/enabling competencies and skills needed to fully understand the present competencies (teachers);
b. design an appropriate LAC Plan and Technical Assistance Plan (SHs, MTs, and HTs); and
c. develop and design instructional interventions and customized technical
assistance to support the schools (EPSs and PSDSs)
4. To gather the results of this Diagnostic Assessment, a link will be forwarded to
the school heads through email before September 15, 2023. The results shall be
encoded until September 21, 2023.
