1. In line with DepEd Bureau of Learning Resources Memorandum BLR-2024-06-1065 titled “Screening and Selection of Learning Resource Evaluators (LREs),” the field is hereby informed that BLR is expanding is current pool of LREs for school year 2024-2025 onwards. Relative to this, CID-Learning Resource Management Section shall facilitate the Division Screening and Selection of LREs in coordination with
Education Program Supervisors. The screening of potential LREs shall be guided by DepEd Memorandum No. 217 s. 2016 or the Guidelines on the Screening, Selection, and Training of Potential Learning Resource Evaluators (LREs).
2. Potential LREs must have a Bachelor’s degree with at least five (5) years of teaching experience in the learning area being applied as LRE, must have at least 24 hours of relevant training on the development and evaluation of LRs, and not an author, editor, and consultant of any commercially-developed LRs submitted to DepEd for procurement in the last three years from the date of application. Potential LREs are limited to public schools district supervisors (PSDSs), principals, assistant principals, head teachers (HT), and other non-teaching or teaching-related personnel who meet the minimum qualifications.
3. Respective Education Program Supervisors shall facilitate the screening and selection of five (5) potential LREs for each of the following learning areas:
a. Makabansa (Elementary)
b. Good Manners and Right Conduct (Elementary)
c. Values Education (Secondary)
d. Mathematics (Elementary)
e. Mathematics (Secondary)
f. Filipino (Elementary)
g. Filipino (Secondary)
h. Science (Elementary)
i. Science (Secondary)
j. English (Elementary)
k. English (Secondary)
l. Araling Panlipunan (Elementary)
m. Araling Panlipunan (Secondary)
n. Edukasyong Pantahanan at Pangkabuhayan (EPP)
o. Technology and Livelihood Education (TLE)
p. Music and Arts (Elementary)
q. Music and Arts (Secondary)
r. Physical Education and Health (Elementary)
s. Physical Education and Health (Secondary)
4. Previously trained LREs in the national or regional level must not be submitted as potential LREs but are advised to update their profiles through the Division Screening and Selection Committee (DSSC) headed by the CID Chief and LRMS Education Program Supervisor. Selected potential LREs shall be submitted by the Education Program Supervisors on or before June 27, 2024.
