1. Relative to DepEd Order No. 013, s. 2023 titled Adoption of the National
Learning Recovery Program (NLRP) in the Department of Education, which primarily aims to improve numeracy and literacy and to increase the availability of broad and reliable data on numeracy and mathematics progress and achievement, this Office, through the Curriculum Implementation Division, is announcing the Administration of Beginning of School Year (BOSY) 2023-2024 Numeracy Assessment on September 18-29, 2023.
2. To guide all mathematics teachers who will handle the actual assessment, the
matrix below presents the prescribed assessment tools to be used.
3. Schools are requested to capacitate the newly-hired teachers on the utilization
of these numeracy assessment tools, and on the gathering and processing of the
results.
4. The results of the BOSY 2023-2024 Numeracy Assessment shall be encoded
in this link: https://tinyurl.com/DasmaReadingNumeracyData until October 15,
2023. These results shall include the number of learners who are classified to the
Above Average Numerates, Average Numerates, Emergent, and Non-Numerates
