1. In line with DepEd Order No. 022, s. 2023 or the Implementing Guidelines
on the School Calendar and Activities for the School Year 2023-2024, the Alternative Learning System under the Curriculum Implementation Division shall provide relevant and responsive technical assistance by Monitoring of Opening of ALS Classes on Sept. 19-22, 2023 for all the ALS service providers in the division.
2. The activity aims to ensure the compliance of ALS Community Learning
Centers with the policies and guidelines and determine issues and concerns.
3. The Division ALS Monitoring Team shall be spearheaded by Division ALS Focal Person, Marites O. Manicio with the assistance of the two Education Program Specialists II for ALS shall monitor the implementation along with the health and safety protocols. Classes shall not be disrupted as per DepEd Order No. 9, s. 2005 or Instituting Measures to Increase Engaged Time-on-Task and
Ensuring Compliance Therewith.
4. Travel and other incidental expenses shall be charged against the Division
Maintenance and Other Operating Expenses (MOOE), subject to usual accounting rules and regulations.
5. Attached in this Memorandum is the composition of the Division ALS Monitoring Team and schedule, terms of reference and monitoring tool.
