1. Pursuant to the provisions of DepEd Order No. 005, s. 2024 on the rationalization of teachers’ workload in public schools and the payment of teacher overload and the previously released Regional Memorandum No. 420, s. 2026 pertaining to the above-mentioned subject, this Office hereby informs the field of its strict compliance and dissemination.
2. The communication aims to provide proper assessment on the current implementation of teacher workload policies in schools as to identification of challenges and gaps, propose strategic interventions & activities and establish monitoring & evaluation mechanisms for its effective implementation.
3. All Schools Division Offices shall fill-out and submit the corresponding Implementation Plan that will serve as basis for Regional Office monitoring, provision of technical assistance and report consolidation purposes intended for submission to the Central Office.
