1. In compliance with the Memorandum from the Office of the Undersecretary for Governance and Operations dated June 8, 2026, this Office joins the nation in celebrating the spirit of Filipino resilience showcased in this year’s National Disaster Resilience Month 2026 with the theme, “NAGHAHANDA at KUMIKILOS tungo sa PANATAG na BAGONG PILIPINAS”.
2. This year’s activities and events shall focus on a thematic pillar-driven and localized strategy on fostering a culture of preparedness, enabling individuals, institutions to face risks and elevate their resilience.
3. Enclosed to this Memorandum are the following:
a. Office of the Undersecretary for Governance and Operations Memorandum dated June 8, 2026;
b. Letter invitation from the Office of the Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management dated July 1, 2026 on the National Disaster Resilience Month (NDRM) 2026 Webinar Series;
c. Letter invitation from the City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management dated June 25, 2026; and
d. List of Participants to the CDRRMO NDRM Rescue Olympics and Exhibits
4. Teachers who are still the School Disaster Risk Reduction and Management (SDRRM) Deputy Chiefs or Coordinators may join the CDRRMO NDRM Rescue Olympics and Exhibits on July 8, 2026 provided that they are in morning (AM) shift and have no classes in the afternoon.
