1. In reference to the communication from Atty. Mohammad Bhydir B. Sarapuddin, City Election Officer of the Commission on Elections, this Office informs all concerned about a Coordination Meeting for the Special Election 2026, on July 9, 2026 (Thursday), starting at 9:00 a.m. at the Audio-Visual Room (AVR), Socio-Economic Building, Burol Main, Dasmarinas City.
2. This activity aims to discuss the preparatory tasks, coordination mechanisms, and operational arrangements needed to ensure the orderly, secure, and efficient use of school facilities as voting centers during the Special Election. It will also serve as a forum to clarify the respective responsibilities of the Department of Education and the Commission on Elections for the upcoming electoral exercise.
3. The participants of this meeting are the School Principals / DESOs of the public schools designated as voting centers in Dasmarinas City.
4. Participation to this activity shall observe DepEd Order No. 9, s. 2005 on Instituting Measures to Increase Engaged Time-On-Task and Ensuring Compliance Therewith, and strict compliance to other existing DepEd rules and guidelines.
5. Travel costs that shall be incurred in participation in the abovementioned face-to-face conference shall be charged against available local funds subject to usual accounting and auditing guidelines.
