1. In reference to DepEd Memorandum OUOPS No. 2023-03-8390 re: 2023
Career Guidance Program National Kick-off, which highlighted Rule V of the
Implementing Rules and Regulations of Republic Act No. 10533, known as the Basic Education, states that Department of Education is directed to properly guide
secondary level students in choosing career tracks they intend to pursue by providing them with services/programs that will give information on career choices towards becoming productive and contributing individuals.
2. In this light, the Office of the Assistant Secretary for Operations (OASOPS),
through the Bureau of Learner Support Services-Youth Formation Division (BLSS-YFD), transitioning to Learner Formation Division, in collaboration with the
Curriculum and Teaching-Bureau of Curriculum Development (CT-BCD), will
spearhead the 2023 Career Guidance Program (CGP) National Kick-off on September 25, 2023 at the Tanghalang Rizal, Rizal High School, Pasig City.
3. Schools are encouraged to watch the recorded video at the DepEd Philippines
Facebook Page and conduct CGP-initiated activities in the afternoon of the same
date.
