1. Pursuant to DepEd Memorandum 009, s.2021, the Institutionalization of the
National Quality Management System (NQMS) provides that all governance levels
shall implement NQMS to ensure efficient and customer-focused services to all
stakeholders.
2. Moreover, schools shall continue the implementation of the following activities
relative to the National Quality Management System:
a. Recitation of the DepEd Quality Policy Statement in school activities.
b. Quarterly conduct of the Management Review
c. Institutionalization of Client Satisfaction Measurement (CSM)
d. Utilization of the DepEd Branding Guidelines and DepEd MATATAG
e. Implementation of 5S methodology or any practical ways to ensure quality
and safe workplace.
f. Implementation of other applicable provisions of DepEd Quality Management
System Manual and Procedures and Work Instructions Manual.
3. Schools through their school heads and QMRs shall work with their respective
division-based NQMS coaches for this purpose.
