1. In reference to Regional Memo 0254, s. 2024 re: Regional Orientation of ALS Teachers on the Implementation of the Contextualized MELCs-Based ALS Senior High School Curriculum, the Curriculum Implementation Division (CID) deemed it necessary to conduct the Division Orientation of ALS Teachers on the Implementation of the Contextualized MELCs-Based ALS Senior High School Curriculum due to the increase of participating schools and ALS SHS teachers aiming to provide the complete basic education through ALS SHS program. The orientation will be conducted on July 23-25, 2024 at SPED Multipurpose, SPED and ALS Building, Dasmarinas H Central School, Brgy. Burol 1, Dasmarinas City from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
2. The activity aims to: a) Develop deep understanding, familiarization, and appreciation on the Contextualized MELCs-Based ALS SHS Curriculum among ALS Teachers; b) Train and equip the ALS teachers with the skills needed on the delivery and contextualization process of learning competencies in ALS context and; c) Conduct demonstration teaching of select teacher participants in preparation for the implementation of the contextualized MELCS-Based ALS SHS in their respective schools / Community Learning Centers.
3. Participants to this activity are the school heads of Senior High School (SHS) offering ALS and their teachers handling ALS SHS subjects for SY 2024-2025, specifically from Paliparan 3 SHS, Dr. Jose P. Rizal SHS, Dasmarinas Integrated HS, New Era SHS and De La Salle University-Dasmarinas SHS. Teacher participants are required to bring laptop, extension cord and ALS SHS curriculum guide.
