1. In reference to Division Memorandum No. 102, s. 2023 titled Clarifying the
Classroom Observation Process and the Classroom Observable Indicators re: RPMS-PPST for SY 2022-2023, this Office, through the Curriculum Implementation Division, would like to reiterate the continuous conduct of monitoring and evaluation and provision of technical assistance to all school-based instructional leaders relative to Classroom Observation for School Year 2023-2024, as highlighted in a specific provision from the abovementioned Division Memorandum:
Classroom Observation, whether formal, evaluative, informal, or non-evaluative, shall be categorized under the Instructional Supervision function of the school-based and division-based instructional leaders. Division-based instructional leaders shall assist all their school-based counterparts in the proper conduct of pre-observation conference, actual observation, and post observation conference using available appropriate tools and mechanisms for monitoring, evaluation, and technical assistance.
2. Anent to this, all school-based instructional leaders are directed to review the
enclosed Monitoring Tool for Instructional Supervision as guidance on how the
post-observation conference with the teacher observed shall be done, and how
division-based instructional leaders shall monitor the instructional supervision
practices and provide technical assistance to their school-based counterparts in the conduct of post-observation conference.
