1. The Department of Education MATATAG Agenda provides that schools must
act in caring for all learners through promoting learner well-being, inclusive
education, and a positive learning environment. This can be realized by making sure that their physical, emotional, and social well-being are being taken care of.
2. Hence, the City Schools Division of Dasmariñas provides additional guidelines
to assist schools in the conduct of school-based sports culminating activity based on Item 33 of DepEd Order No.34, s.2022:
a. School sports culminating activity shall be done for two days (Friday and
Saturday only).
b. The schools are directed to submit a letter addressed to the Schools Division Superintendent for the target date of conduct of the activity.
c. The safety and security of the learners shall be the utmost concern of the school.
d. The school head shall ensure that the conduct of sports culminating activities shall be in accordance with DO 003, s 2023 or An Order Allowing the Conduct of In-Person Activities in Schools.
e. The school head and teachers shall ensure non-disruption of classes. Hence, athletes who may miss lessons shall be given ample time to comply with the requirements/activities.
f. Public schools may start conducting sports equipment inventory.
