1. In accordance with the Civil Service Commission’s Program on Awards and Incentives for Service Excellence (PRAISE) and DepEd Order No. 9, s. 2002 (Establishment of the PRAISE System in the Department of Education), this Division has continuously implemented Gawad SiGaSig (Sipag, Galing, Sigla) annually.
2. The Gawad SiGaSig is dedicated to acknowledging and rewarding outstanding service, prioritizing individuals who have made exceptional, pioneering, and noteworthy contributions and innovations. It likewise recognizes schools that have demonstrated effective and innovative approaches in delivering education that is relevant, accessible, liberating, and continuous amidst evolving challenges.
3. To capture the prestige, values, and identity of this program, this Office announces the Division-Wide Gawad SiGaSig Plaque Design Contest. The winning design shall be officially awarded to all the individual and school Gawad SiGaSig awardees and the winning participant shall be invited to the 11th Gawad SiGaSig and receive a plaque of recognition and a cash prize.
4. The contest is open to all teaching, related-teaching, and non-teaching personnel, as well as currently enrolled learners in public elementary and secondary schools within the Division. All submissions must be individual entries. Joint submissions or group/team entries will not be accepted.
5. Individual entries shall be submitted to https://bit.ly/DSMGSPlaqueDesign. Deadline of submission is on or before August 28, 2026.
