1. Pursuant to DepEd Order No. 10, s. 2024, this Office hereby informs the field of the POLICY GUIDELINES ON THE IMPLEMENTATION OF MATATAG CURRICULUM to provide context and directions, and to clearly define its features, design and standards.

2.It shall be implemented as the prescribed minimum standards for all public and private schools, state universities and colleges (SUCs), local universities and colleges (LUCs), and Philippine Schools Overseas (PS0s) that offer basic education.

3. The MATATAG Curriculum, aligned with Ambisyon Natin 2040, equips learners with 21st-century skills and promotes inclusivity, global citizenship, and diversity. It aims to develop holistic, lifelong learners who embody the values of Maka-Diyos, Makatao, Makakalikasan, and Makabansa.

4. This Order provides guidelines for the MATATAG Curriculum implementation. For teachers, it serves as a primary guide for planning instruction, selecting subjects, implementing strategies, utilizing resources, and applying assessments. For instructional leaders, it provides direction for supervisory plans, monitoring learning progress, and offering technical support to teachers and school heads.

5. It amends DepEd Order No. 021, s. 2019 (Policy Guidelines on the K to 12 Basic Education Program), specifically addressing the following sections:
