1. DepEd Order No. 37, s. 2015 provides the framework for the Comprehensive School Safety which includes a safe, green, resilient and conducive learning environment for our learners, teaching and non-teaching personnel as such, this Division champions these characteristics by further improving this initiative with the help of the Meralco K-Ligtas Awards. The Meralco K-Ligtas Awards is an electrical safety
advocacy program of Meralco through the Meralco Power Academy, formally recognizing model institutions that have successfully integrated electrical safety and outstanding work practices into their culture. This year, the program is expanding to include energy efficiency.
2. As awardees are meticulously selected, this Office shall provide a technical assistance to the School Head and the SDRRM Coordinator (of S.Y. 2023-2024) of Francisco E. Barzaga Integrated High School to review and update their documents and practices in relation to the Meralco K-Ligtas Awards on August 1, 2024, Thursday, 01:00 p.m. onwards at Francisco E. Barzaga Integrated High School.
3. Participants to this activity are the School Governance and Operations Division Chief, Division Engineer, Division DRRM Coordinator, School Head, and the SDRRM Coordinator (of S.Y. 2023-2024 and S.Y. 2024-2025).
