1. In line with DepEd Order No. 035, s. 2016 or the The Learning Action Cell as a
K to 12 Basic Education Program School-Based Continuing Professional Development Strategy for the Improvement of Teaching and Learning, the
Alternative Learning System under the Curriculum Implementation Division shall
provide relevant and responsive technical assistance by conducting ALS LAC
Session on Oct. 20, 27 and Nov. 10 & 17, 2023 for newly hired ALS teachers (Batch 1) and on January 24-26, 2024 for all ALS Teachers, Community ALS
Implementors and Learning Facilitators (Batch 2) at SPED Multipurpose Hall,
SPED and ALS Building, Dasma 2 Central School Compound, Brgy. Burol 1,
Dasmariñas City, 8:00 am to 12:00 noon.
2. The activity aims to:
a) capacitate newly hired teachers in teaching and learning of ALS learners
b) Enhance content knowledge, pedagogical skills, and attitude of teachers.
c) Improve the ability to assess learner’s various literacy skills; and
d) Sustain commitment in mentoring sharing of teaching practices and experiences through a cost-effective and sustainable professional development
system to improve instructional and learning outcomes.
3. Classes shall not be disrupted as per DepEd Order No. 9, s. 2005 or Instituting
Measures to Increase Engaged Time-on-Task and Ensuring Compliance
Therewith but teachers will observe and follow the implementation of blended
learning modality while attending LAC Sessions.
4. Travel costs that shall be incurred in participation to face-to-face activities shall be charged against available local funds subject to usual accounting and auditing
guidelines.
5. Furthermore, the Program Management Team has fully understood and shall
comply with Division Order No. 1, s. 2019 titled Regulating the Use of Plastic
Products in Schools and Offices in the City Schools Division of Dasmarinas and
