1. With reference to DepEd Order No. 45, s. 2021, Policy Guidelines in the Selection of and Minimum Requirements for the Conversion of Certain Schools SPED Centers Into Prototype Inclusive Learning Resource Centers, and DepEd Order 44, s. 2021, Policy Guidelines on the Provision of Educational Programs, and Services for Learners with Disabilities in the K to 12 Basic Education Program,
this office announces the Conduct of Advocacy Program in Inclusive Education: A Community of Practice Toward Achieving an Inclusive Learning Resource Center (ILRC) through benchmarking of good practices at Cabuyao SPED Center, SDO- Cabuyao City on October 27, 2023, Friday.
2. The activity aims to:
a. Identify the best practices and successful strategies implemented by Cabuyao
SPED Center in terms of its facilities and learning resources.
b. Benchmark commendable teaching and learning processes that are beneficial
to all types of marginalized and disadvantage learners.
c. Develop recommendations and best practices for improving the inclusive
education program of the different SPED Pilot Schools in the City Schools Division of Dasmariñas.
3. Participation to this activity shall observe DepEd Order No. 9, s. 2005 on instituting measures to Increase Engaged time-on-task and ensuring Compliance. Therewith, and strict compliance to other existing DepEd rules and guidelines.
4. Enclosed to this memorandum is the list of participants.
5. All expenses incurred relative to the participation are charged to the Division
2023 Program Support fund in Special Education.
