1. In consonance with Regional Memorandum No. 179 s.2016 re: “Monitoring of the Opening of Classes in Public and Private Elementary and Secondary Schools”, this office hereby informs the field of regional and division monitoring activities starting June 13,
2016.
2. This activity aims to ensure the implementation of specific guidelines found in Enclosure 2 of DepEd Order No. 23, s.2016, re: School Calendar for the SY 2016-2017. Moreover, this activity also aims to provide support in the areas of instruction, progress monitoring
and evaluation by looking into the present and actual situation on the first day of the opening of classes for SY 2016-2017.
3. Attached is copy of Regional Memorandum No. 179 s.2016 and the monitoring tools, for your perusal.
