1. In preparation for the conduct of the Division Science and Technology Fair (DSTF) and the Division Festival of Talents (STEMazing), this Office, through the Curriculum Implementation Division (CID), shall conduct the provision of technical assistance to participating schools on August 11-13 and 18-19, 2026 to strengthen school’s research implementation, improve the quality of student research outputs, and ensure compliance with the prescribed research guidelines and standards prior to the Division competitions.

2. The Technical Assistance shall focus on research preparation, refinement of manuscripts, validation of research methodology, preparation of display boards and oral presentation coaching. Specifically, it aims to:

a. evaluate the readiness of participating schools for the DSTF and STEMazing;
b. provide technical guidance on the conduct and presentation of student research;
c. validate research title, methodologies and outputs according to the prescribed competition guidelines;
d. assist research advisers in improving the technical quality of research papers;
e. identify areas requiring enhancement before the Division level competitions; and
f. ensure that all participating entries satisfy the documentary and technical requirements.
