1. As stipulated in the Republic Act 10661, the month of November of every year is declared as “National Children’s Month”. Relative to this, the Boy Scouts of the Philippines (BSP) in the City Schools Division of Dasmarinas will have its BSP KID and KAB Pistahan this November 17, 2023 with the following activities:
a. That’s My KAB Scout
b. Palarong Pinoy
c. Scout Olympics
d. KAB Palabas
2. This activity aims to promote values education program through the Boy Scout of the Philippines, enhance the physical, intellectual, emotional, and social skills, and strengthen and develop camaraderie among scouts.
3. In line with this, there will be a BSP Meeting on November 8, 2023, 9:00am at Paliparan II National High School. The agenda to this meeting are the following:
a. Program of Activities
b. Mechanics of the BSP KID and KAB Pistahan
c. Early Registration
4. Participants in this meeting are the Public Schools District Supervisors, Public and Private Elementary School Heads, BSP Cluster Coordinators, KID and KAB Coordinators, and concerned personnel in the attached BSP KID and KAB Pistahan program.
5. Participation to BSP Scouting activity shall adhere to DepEd Order No. 9, s. 2005 on Instituting Measures to Increase Engaged Time-On-Task and Ensuring Compliance Therewith, and strict compliance to other existing DepEd rules and guidelines.
6. Travel costs that shall be incurred in participation to face-to-face BSP activities shall be charged against available local funds subject to usual accounting and auditing guidelines.
7. Furthermore, the Program Management Team has fully understood and shall comply with Division Order No. 1, s. 2019 titled Regulating the Use of Plastic Products in Schools and Offices in the City Schools Division of Dasmarinas and Division Memorandum No. 45, s. 2021 titled Banning of Single-Use Plastic Products in All Division and School Training and Activities.
