1. In preparation for various sports activities in the Schools Division, this Office will conduct a one-day Planning Meeting on Division Sports Activities for SY 2023-2024 on November 9, 2023, at 8:00 in the morning at Pag-asa National High School.
2. The aims of the activity are the following:
a. Draft feasible sports meet activity matrix;
b. Identify competent sports officials who can assist in managing sports activity;
c. Identify sports equipment and venues that could be used for sports activities;
and
d. Discuss other matters related to the conduct of the sports activities.
3. Participants in this activity are the following: Division Sports Officer, Education Program Supervisor in MAPEH, Division Tournament Managers, and Division Screening and Accreditation Committee members. Please see the attached enclosure for your reference. They are requested to bring laptop and extension wire.
4. Participants in this activity shall adhere to DepEd Order No. 9, s. 2005 on Instituting Measures to Increase Engaged Time-On-Task and Ensuring Compliance Therewith, and strict compliance to other existing DepEd rules and guidelines.
5. Travel costs that shall be incurred in participation to face-to-face activities shall be charged against available local funds subject to usual accounting and auditing guidelines.
6. Furthermore, the Program Management Team has fully understood and shall comply with Division Order No. 1, s. 2019 titled Regulating the Use of Plastic Products in Schools and Offices in the City Schools Division of Dasmarinas and Division Memorandum No. 45, s. 2021 titled Banning of Single-Use Plastic Products in All Division and School Training and Activities.
7. Immediate and wide dissemination of this Memorandum is earnestly desired.
