1. In line with Division Memorandum No. 589, s. 2023 or the Division Red Cross
Youth Council Month Calendar of Activities for S.Y. 2023-2024, this Office
through the School Governance and Operations Division – Learner Formation
Program (formerly the Youth Formation Program) announces the conduct of the
Youth Basic Volunteer Orientation Course (YBVOC) on November 7, 2023 from
8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Bulwagang Emmanuel Resurreccion, Emmanuel
Resurreccion Congressional Integrated High School.
2. The said activity aims to enhance the knowledge, skills, and attitude of the
members and officers of Red Cross Youth Councils in responding to their roles
and responsibilities in their respective schools.
3. Participants to this activity are the nine (9) Executive Officers and one (1) teacher-adviser of Senior Red Cross Youth Councils (for Junior HS) and Senior Red Cross Youth Council Plus (for Senior HS).
4. Attached to this Division Memorandum is a copy of a Parental Consent.
5. Participation to this activity is purely voluntary and shall adhere to DepEd Order No. 9, s. 2005 on Instituting Measures to Increase Engaged Time-On-Task
and Ensuring Compliance Therewith, and strict compliance to other existing
DepEd rules and guidelines.
6. Travel costs that shall be incurred in participation in face-to-face activities shall
be charged against available local funds subject to usual accounting and auditing
guidelines.
7. Furthermore, the Program Management Team has fully understood and shall
comply with Division Order No. 1, 2019 titled Regulating the Use of Plastic
Products in Schools and Offices in the City Schools Division of Dasmarinas and
Division Memorandum No. 45, 2. 2021 titled Banning of Single-Use Plastic
Products in All Division and School Training and Activities.
