1. In line with Division Memorandum No. 604, s. 2023 or the Barkada Kontra Droga Calendar of Activities for S.Y. 2023-2024 and in acquiescence to the letter request dated October 18, 2023 from the Cavite Provincial Council for the Protection of Children, this Office through the School Governance and Operations Division – Learner Formation Program (formerly the Youth Formation Program) announces the conduct of Pag-Akay 2023: Juvenile Delinquency Prevention Caravan for Children and Stakeholders cum Barkada Kontra Droga Orientation on Drug Abuse Prevention and Control on November 8, 2023 from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00
p.m. at St. Jude College Dasmariñas Auditorium, CQT Avenue, Salawag, Dasmariñas City, Cavite.
2. The said activity aims to discuss strategies and interventions to address juvenile
delinquency among learners and improve the knowledge, skills, and attitude of
the learnerss and officers of Red Cross Youth Councils in responding to their
roles and responsibilities in their respective schools.
3. Participants to this activity are: a) one (1) Guidance Counselor /Teacher/ Designate/Advocate; b) two (2) randomly selected Child-At-Risk (CAR), or if cannot be identified, members of any other student club or organization; c) one (1) teacher-adviser of the Barkada Kontra Droga (BKD); and d) one (1) BKD President or Officer of all 44 public elementary and secondary schools.

5. Participation to this activity is purely voluntary and shall adhere to DepEd Order No. 9, s. 2005 on Instituting Measures to Increase Engaged Time-On-Task
