1. In reference to the communication letter from the Kolehiyo ng Lungsod ng Dasmariñas (KLD) received on August 2, 2024, this office announces the participation of the enclosed list of teachers and learners in the Department of Science and Technology (DOST) Science Writing Seminar and Workshop on September 4-5, 2024 at KLD Audio Visual Room.
2. The workshop aims to enhance skills in science writing focusing on effective communication of scientific concepts, research, and findings. It will provide both teachers and students with valuable techniques and insights into improving their science writing facilities.
3. The participants are expected to answer the training needs assessment on or before August 16, 2024, Friday, through the link: https://tinyurl.com/KLDDOSTScienceWritingSeminar.
4. Enclosed in this memorandum are the list of participants, and parental consent. The participants whose names are enclosed in this memorandum shall be authorized to travel and are in official business. Travel costs incurred in participation in this face-to-face activity shall be charged against available local funds subject to usual accounting and auditing guidelines.
5. Participation in this engagement shall adhere to DepEd Order No. 9, s. 2005 on Instituting Measures to Increase Engaged Time-On-Task and Ensuring Compliance Therewith, and strict compliance to other existing DepEd rules and guidelines on No Disruption of Classes
