1. Relative to DepEd Memorandum No. 067, s. 2025 together with CO-EPS No. 08-350 and Regional Memorandum No. 650, s. 2025 titled “Celebration of the 2025 National Teachers’ Month, National Teachers’ Day, and World Teachers’ Day,” this Office is one with the nation in celebrating National Teachers’ Month (NTM) commencing from September 5 to October 5, 2025, with October 5, 2025 as the National Teachers’ Day (NTD) and World Teachers’ Day (WTD).
2. The celebration aims to:
• honor and recognize teachers for their vital role in nation-building by nurturing learners, families, and communities;
• revitalize respect for teaching as a noble profession; and
• generate public support and gratitude for their invaluable service and influence on Filipino learners.
3. Attention is hereby invited to paragraphs 3 and 4 with the respective School officials leading all public and private elementary and secondary schools in the conduct of localized celebration activities in honor of teachers. On October 5, 2025, school-based celebrations are encouraged, including the recitation of “A Prayer for Teachers” on “Panalangin Para sa mga Guro,” which shall be observed.”
