1. Pursuant to DepEd Order 33 s, 2019 “Implementing Guidelines on the Comprehensive Oral Health Program of the Department of Education”, Colgate Palmolive Philippines, Inc. (CPPI) has partnered with the Department to initiate a three-year program providing students with dental care products and educational materials. This collaboration is part of the Bright Smiles, Bright Futures Program (BSBF), which aims to enhance oral health education for children in public schools. The BSBF classroom kit for SY 2024 – 2025 contains Colgate toothbrush and toothpaste.
2. In this regard, all concerned School Property Custodians (SPCs) are advised to pick -up the BSBF Oral Health Bundles (toothbrushes and toothpastes) at the DIHS Gate 3 -Modules Area starting September 16 -19, 2025 from 9:00am- 03:00 pm, on their designated time schedule. Likewise, School Heads are instructed to assign additional staff to help the SPCs and provide transportation to expedite receiving process.
3. All Public Elementary Schools are enjoined to monitor and document the implementation of BSBF toothbrushing activities. Please submit the soft copies of the accomplished forms, documentation of the distribution with photos and narrative report through the link: bit.ly/BSBF-DASMA2025.
4. Division Dentists will be visiting all public elementary schools to oversee the implementation of Oral Health program and activities.
5. Enclosed are the schedule for the specific date of pick -up per each school/cluster, school distribution forms, guidelines and other relevant information.
