1. This office, through the Curriculum Implementation Division, announces the conduct of the 2024 Division SLAC DocuFest which will start from the school selection and preparations on August 30, 2024. The exhibit and awarding ceremony will take place on September 27, 2024.
2. This initiative is in reference to the DepEd Order No. 35, s. 2016, item 23, to identify potentially replicable practices, highlight significant practices, and accomplishments, and establish a reward system within the division, showcasing the best practices in Collaborative Expertise (CE) through School Learning Action Cells (SLAC).
3. This activity is designed to promote a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration among educators, with the ultimate goal of enhancing teaching effectiveness and student outcomes across all schools in the division. Thus, the theme for the 2024 Division SLAC DocuFest is: “Transformative impact of CE through SLACs in enhancing teacher competence, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, and driving learners’ success”.
4. Enclosed in this memorandum are the Schedule of Activities, Mechanics for the 2024 Division SLAC DocuFest, Rubric for Selecting Best Practices in Collaborative Expertise Through LAC, Nomination Form, and SLAC Forms.
