1. Pursuant to the provisions of DepEd Order No. 11, s. 2026 on the Revised Guidelines on the Implementation of Expanded Government Assistance to Students and Teachers in Private Education (E-GASTPE) and the abovementioned Memorandum as stated, this Office hereby informs the field of its important clarifications.
2. The communication aims to provide clarifications on the implementation issues and queries by stakeholders. This Memorandum was issued pursuant to Government Assistance and Subsidies Composite Team (GCT) Resolution No. 1, s. 2026 to ensure uniform interpretation, consistent application, and proper implementation of the policy which shall apply to private schools for School Year 2026-2027.
3. Attention is hereby invited to paragraph 5 showing the prescribed formula under the PIDS 2023 Income Classes which are based on a reference household of five (5) members and paragraph 7 for the computation of income for Contractual Seafarers and Other Contract-Based Overseas Workers.
