Pursuant to Section 42 of Article IV of the Republic Act No. 9165 titled Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, which mandates the school’s councils and campus organizations to include in their activities a program for the prevention of the use of dangerous drugs, the same with DepEd Memorandum No. 200, s. 2016 titled Strengthening the National Drug Education Program in Schools that reiterates the establishment of Barkada Kontra Droga Chapters in schools to strengthen the implementation of the National Drug Education Program (NDEP) of DepEd, this division, through the Youth Formation Program (YFP)-School Governance and Operations Division, hereby announces the conduct of PAG-AKAY 2024: Barkada Kontra Droga (BKD) Division Orientation cum Division Federated BKD Election on September 20, 2024, 8 AM – 5 PM at Bulwagang Sigasig, CSDO.
