1. For the information and guidance of all concerned, attached is the DepEd
Memorandum OM-OASOPS-2023-0 titled Endorsement of Resolution No. 11 s. 2023 of the National Federation of Supreme Secondary Learner Government Empowering the SSLG to spearhead initiatives in Observance of the 18-Day Campaign to End Violence Against Women and their Children (VAWC) dated December 6, 2023.
2. It is reiterated that participation in the activities related to the attached
memorandum shall adhere to DepEd Order No. 9, s. 2005 on Instituting Measures
to Increase Engaged Time-On-Task and Ensuring Compliance Therewith, and strict compliance to other existing DepEd rules and guidelines. Thus, it is expected that School Heads should make the necessary adjustments in compliance thereof
3. Moreover, this Division strictly adheres to Division Order No. 1, series of 2019
and Division Memorandum No. 45, series of 2021 titled Regulating the Use of Plastic Products in Schools and Offices in the City Schools Division of Dasmariñas and Banning of Single-Use Plastic Products in All Division and School Trainings and Activities, respectively and enjoins schools to do the same (e.g. bring their own tumbler instead of single-use bottles).
