1. Relative to Regional Memorandum No. 615, s. 2023 titled Regional Training of
Trainers for Learning Recovery Program in Literacy and Numeracy through School-Based Learning Action Cell- Batch 2, the field is hereby informed of the Division Rollout for Learning Recovery Program in Literacy and Numeracy through School-Based Learning Action Cell, in-person/ stay-in modality, from December 18 to 22, 2023, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, venue to be released in a separate memorandum.
2. By the end of the PD program, the participants shall be able to develop and implement the Workplace Application Plan integrating varied teaching and
assessment strategies that will address the identified least learned competencies in
literacy and numeracy.
Specifically, they will be able to:
Literacy
a. Demonstrate knowledge and understanding in applying various strategies in teaching:
a.1 getting main idea and noting details from an expository text read/ listened to;
a.2 predicting outcome skills
a.3 inferring cause and effect
a.4 teaching vocabulary particularly in identifying meanings of content area words; and
a.5 making contextual meaning
b. Craft a lesson exemplars utilizing various strategies in teaching:
