1. Recognizing the importance of research in educational planning, program development, and policy making in basic education, the City Schools Division of Dasmariñas will hold the Division Research Training on Quantitative and Qualitative Research for Teachers and School Partnership Coordinators on April 24-26, 2019 at Dasmariñas Integrated High School Library and Bulwagang Sigasig.
2. This activity is consistent with DepED Order No. 16 s. 2017 which provides concrete steps towards the realization of DepEd’s thrust on evidence-based policy and program development. This helps in reforming the research initiatives at the school and the Division level.
3. The training aims to:
a. Enhance the capacities of teachers and school partnership coordinators on the basics of research that will aid them to improve their teaching practices and program delivery; and
b. Provide skills to participants in designing research proposals in compliance with the ethical standards in educational research.
4. The participants to the aforementioned activity are enclosed in this Memorandum. They shall be entitled to service credits in accordance with DepEd Order No. 53 s. 2003 entitled Updated Guidelines on the Grant of Vacation Service Credits to Teachers.
5. Participants are directed to bring individual laptop, internet device, and extension wire.
6. Immediate and widest dissemination of the Memorandum is hereby directed.
