1. Pursuant to Republic Act No. 10533 otherwise known as the “Enhanced Basic Education Act of 2013” there will be a specialized skills training in Housekeeping for select TLE Grade 6 Home Economics teachers on April 22 to 26, 2019 at Dasmarinas Integrated High School from 7:30 in the morning up to 5:00 in the afternoon.
2. The objective of the training is to enhance the skills and knowledge of TLE Grade 6 Home Economics teachers and align their competencies with Industry standards in order for them to secure National Certification issued by TESDA.
3. Enclosed are the list of the trainees, list of training team, and the training matrix. Participants will be provided with meals and snacks for the stretch of the training, however, they are enjoined to bring their own tumblers in support to programs aligned with improving our environment.
4. The participants who will successfully finish the 40 hours training and the one (1) day TESDA assessment are entitled to claim six (6) days service credit and 5 days service credit for the training team as stated in Department Order No. 53, s. 2003 also known as “Updated Guidelines on Grant of Vacation Service Credits to Teachers”.
5. School heads are highly encouraged to provide financial support to teachers as payment for their assessment. This may be charged to canteen funds or MOOE subject to usual accounting and auditing rules and procedures.
