1. In relation to DepEd Memorandum No. 44, s. 2023 titled Interim Guidelines for the Quality Assurance and Monitoring and Evaluation of NEAP Core Programs which states that field offices shall prioritize the implementation of professional development programs aligned with NEAP and Curriculum and Teaching Strand collaborative priorities such as MATATAG Curriculum, National Learning Camp, Literacy and Numeracy, National Reading Program, National Mathematics Program, Higher-order Thinking Skills, Content Knowledge and Pedagogy, etc., this office is hereby informed on the conduct of L86D Summit 2024: Orientation on the Development and Quality Assurance of Professional Development Programs for Teachers and School Leaders on November 7-8, 2024, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, at Elijah Hotel and Residences, Salawag, Dasmariñas City, Cavite.
2. At the end of the activity, the participants shall be able to:
a. revisit the guidelines and processes for PD program development stipulated in DM 44, s.2023;
b. discuss the quality standards for PD program proposal and learning resource materials; and,
c. prepare a PD program proposal for teachers and/or school leaders aligned with NEAP priorities and adherent to DM 44, s. 2023.
3. Participants in this training are the School INSET Coordinators and Assistant Coordinators.
