1. Relative to the national guidelines for the 5th National Parol-Making Competition with the theme “Kabataang Pilipino: Tanglaw ng Pag-asa” (Filipino Youth: Light of Hope) and the Division Memorandum No. 775, s. 2026 titled “Call for Submission of Entries for the 5th National Parol-Making Competition”, this Office issues this memorandum to clarify and contextualize the competition guidelines for implementation at the Division level.
2. All participating schools are advised to observe the applicable provisions of the national guidelines, particularly those pertaining to participant qualifications, team composition, parol design and dimensions, materials, safety requirements, documentary submissions, and judging criteria. These provisions shall guide the conduct of the selection of the official entry to represent the Division.
