1. Pursuant to Regional Memorandum No. 668 s. 2024, titled “Conduct of the Bullying Prevention Program: Orientation on the Localized Child Protection Policy and Anti-Bullying (RCPPA) Manual of DepEd Region IV-A CALABARZON”, this Division announces that the Regional Office will conduct a Bullying Prevention Program: Orientation on the Localized Child Protection Policy and Anti-Bullying (RCPPA) Manual of DepEd Region IV-A CALABARZON on November 6-8, 2024 at Tagaytay Haven, Tagaytay City (Mendez Branch).
2. The activity aims to revisit the Regional Child Protection Policy and Anti-Bullying (RCPPA) Manual of DepEd Region TV-A CALABARZON in compliance with the mandate of DepEd Order No. 55, s. 2013. Specifically, it aims to:
a) discuss pertinent issues/concerns/information relative to Child Protection and Anti-Bullying;
b) identify gaps and weaknesses, emerging issues and trends, legal policy changes, successful practices and strategies, and areas for clarification in the manual that may hinder its effectiveness; and
c) demonstrate several key principles and actions to ensure that the manual is comprehensive, effective, and responsive to current challenges.
