1. Pursuant to Regional Memorandum No. 812 s. 2024, this Office hereby disseminates the attached memorandum regarding the Standard Operating Procedures in Preventing Suicidal Situations with Learners.
2. Moreover, the operating procedures will provide clear, evidence-based guidelines for identifying, assessing and responding to suicide risks. These will also establish a communication protocol for reporting and documenting suicide attempts or ideation. This approach helps create a comprehensive strategy that prioritizes safety, support and effective intervention.
