Sunduan refers to the Filipino term for “fetching’. This pageant features a parade of young ladies escorted by young gentlemen donned in the colorful creations of local designers of the City of Dasmariñas. This highlights the tradition of young men fetching young ladies as a means of paying respect both to the latter and her family during the period of courtship as well as confirming their pure intentions.
This year, the City Government of Dasmariñas shall once again spearhead Sunduan 2017 on May 19, 2017 open to all beautiful and goodlooking male and female Dasmarineños who are 14 to 23 years old. Attached herewith is a copy of the mechanics including the prizes at stake and the reproducible entry form for your reference.
In this regard, you are hereby requested to provide this memorandum with the widest dissemination possible so that qualified individuals could take part in this annual event that shall emphasize the beauty, grace, and creativity of the Dasmarineños.
