The Teachers’ Dignity Coalition (TDC) will be having a year-end assembly on March 15, 2016 from 1:00PM to 5:00PM at the Conference Hall of Department of Education- National Capital Region, Quezon City.
The meeting primarily aims to:
1. Update the teachers on the salary increase and other issues of the sector;
2. Formulate our cultural group’s (SINAG) plan for artistic events; and
3. Other organizational matters
Some 150 teacher-leaders from National Capital Region (NCR), Central Luzon and CALABARZON are expected to attend this forum. A minimal contribution of P50.00 shall be collected from participants to cover snacks, materials and other incidental expenses.
In this light, we would like to ask your good office to endorse this activity to the respective school heads and schools division superintendents in the region to allow the official participation of the teacher-leaders in the attached list. Those who are not in the list may attend the forum provided that they will make arrangement with the TDC secretariat. May we further request that the PSO.00 contribution and the transportation expenses be charged against any available local funds.
