The field is hereby informed of the new policy on the issuance of certifications pertaining to pendency of administrative cases against teaching and teaching related personnel provided under Regional Memorandum 01C-18-269 with Addendum dated May 18, 2018 (DEPED-4A-RM-01C-18-282) attached hereto as Annex “A” and “B”, respectively.
It is provided in the said memorandum, among others, that the Attorney III of the Legal Unit of medium schools division offices are authorized to only sign certificates of pending/no pending cases necessary in securing GSIS loan, school bond and other transactions not related to retirement, travel abroad, scholarships, awards and recognition. Certificates of no pending/pending cases relative to retirement, travel abroad, scholarship, awards and recognitions shall be secured from the Legal Unit of the Regional Office.
