Relative to the BSP Council Memorandum Number 07 s. 2018 regarding the conduct of the 70th Cavite Council Charter Anniversary Jamboree with its theme: “Scouting Commitment to Excellence” on November 8 – 11, 2018 at Lalaan 11 Central School, Silang, Cavite, this Office hereby informs the field that the purpose of the celebration is to showcase to the public and the stakeholders, the contribution of the BSP – Cavite Council to nation-building over the past seventy years, through the development of the young people by actively engaging and supporting them to become agents of change in their respective communities.
Specifically, the celebration aims to celebrate with thanksgiving, the founding anniversary of the Cavite Council, Boy Scouts of the Philippines; instill in the minds and hearts of the Filipino youths a sense of pride and belongingness to an international youth organization; and to foster camaraderie among members as brothers and sisters in scouting.
A Jamboree Fee of FIVE HUNDRED PESOS (Php500.00) shall be required from each participant (Scout and Scouters) to cover costs for program materials, administrative needs, awards/prizes, plaques, souvenir items and other miscellaneous expenses.
