Relative to the Memorandum issued last 06 February 2023, this Office modifies provision number 5 to read as follows:
5. Classes on February 20, 2023 shall revert to distance learning. All participating teachers shall ensure that asynchronous tasks are given to learners on or before February 17, 2023 to cover the in-person classes on February 20, 2023. In-person classes shall resume on February 21, 2023, and School Heads are requested to prepare substitution arrangements for the classes of the Highly Proficient Teachers to avoid class disruptions.
In addition, teachers are advised to report onsite during the two-day orientation and to attend in small viewing groups. Highly Proficient Teachers are also encouraged to attend with the Proficient Teachers on February 20, 2023, aside from the scheduled orientation for them. School Heads and Public Schools District Supervisors are directed to monitor the attendance and participation of teachers during the orientation.
All other provisions in Division Memorandum No. 046, s. 2023 shall remain in effect.
