In relation to the administration of First Quarterly Examination on October 27-28, 2022,
the field is hereby informed that:
a. The classroom teachers are the ones who will craft the quarterly tests in all learning areas from Grade 1 to Grade 12. To ensure the quality, the master teachers and head teachers shall check the tests.
b. In designing the Table of Specification (TOS), the teachers may consider Regional Memorandum No. 383, s. 2021 titled: CLMD4A Budget of Work and/or actual teaching days. In terms of number of items and type of test, the table below shall be followed:
c. The quality assured tests shall be uploaded to this link https: //bit.ly/FirstQT for filing and item banking purposes.
d. The scores in quarter examination will be computed under quarterly assessment component following DepEd Order No. 08, 2015, titled: Policy Guidelines on Classroom Assessment for the Ktol2 Basic Education Program. This means that in the computation of the learners’ grades, the 3 components of summative assessment (Written Works, Performance Task, and Quarterly Assessment) shall
be observed.
