This Office hereby provides the field with the enclosed copy of DepEd Memorandum No. 48, s.2017 re: 2017 National Observances and Commemorations, and Related Activities created by the National Steering Committee in accordance with existing laws to serve as a guide for all public and private schools nationwide to undertake meaningful activities integrated in classroom discussions and school programs or events in related subject areas.
In relation, attendance, cooperation and support on national observances and commemoration is also necessary from participating schools division, district, and schools. Other details significant to the conduct of programs and activities relative to the 2017 Historical/National and Related Activities are provided in the Memorandum.
Moreover, all concerned may contact this Division thru the SGOD for more information.
